PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • Monitor, health check network service for all POSes, partners and core networks in PDC and DRC

 

SCOPE (the way that the position contributes to and impacts on the organization)

  • All POSes, partners and core network in PDC and DRC

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To monitor performance on Wide Area Network (WAN) and Core Network
  • To perform health checks on Wide Area Network (WAN) and Core Network
  • Carry out system backups, recovery plans & disaster recovery
  • Vendor-liaison on hardware/services according to SLA
  • Vendor coordination for replacement of faulty hardware
  • Provide coordination and escalation on service outages with service provider/network vendors
  • Raising, Handling and Resolving Incidents and support sales Outlets (POS)
  • Perform and monitor computer operations at the data centre and to maintain, install and serve data network communication equipment.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR:

  • Ensure WAN Availability of POSes, Partners uptime at 99%
  • Ensure network uptime 99% at PDC & DRC
  • Coordinate with Call Center, IT vendor and Telco vendor do check, troubleshooting to fix WAN at Datacenters, POSes
  • Ensure company's Logical and physical network diagram, IP Address planning and Document are up-to-date

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the related fields

Qualification

  • Have CCNA (at least) or equivalent cert.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
