We are seeking a Fresher Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1). Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) is the entry level job. They work closely with the TS Implementation Engineering Team and acquire the ability to make configurations, action installations and attend to break/fix events at a medium complexity level. The individual functions in an environment of lower complexity to that of TS Implementation Engineers, however works closely with TS Implementation Engineers (L2) and TS Implementation Engineers (L3).
LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Danang
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in installation, break/fix and problem management
- To own portions of an installation, break/fix incidents and problem management related to Server/Storage; Microsoft system (AD, Mail exchange, unify communication - lync); Network/Security solutions; replacement of faulty equipment
- The TS Implementation Engineer (L1) has a basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles. The individual develops an understanding of fundamental project management and administration processes.
- Ability to travel to clients’ premises, occasional night shifts to complete installation, configuration
- Ensure client satisfaction
- To manage client satisfaction, commitment and expectations to high service levels and manages escalations adequately.
- They work under close supervision from the TS Implementation Engineers (L2)..
- Project team management
- To perform periodic telephonic duty on the technical service desk, providing second line telephonic support under guidance to customers.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We expect you:
- Degree holder in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- 0-1 years of experiences in relevant roles
- Holding fundamental certificates is preferred (e.g CCNP, CCNA)
- Basic knowledge about and/or:
- Cisco LAN / WLAN o Basics: DNS / DHCP, Server Administration (Windows, Linux)
- Advanced: IPv4 / IPv6, Network Management (SNMP, Tools)
- ITIL Foundation desirable
- CCNA Routing Switching or CCNA WLAN
- CCNA Security desirable
- Tools: Prime; CMDB (incl. WAN Modul); Infosim StableNet (Monitoring); NeDi Trafficanalyser; BMC Remedy IT Service Management; ResolveIT; WLAN Analyzing tools;
- Microsoft Platform as Active Directory, Microsoft file and print services, Systems Center (CM & OM), Exchange System, Sharepoint Infra, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Windows Clustering; Windows 7/8/10, Microsoft Office 2010/2013/O365
- Proficient in Spoken and Written English
- Outstanding attitude toward learning new knowledge, career development in IT filed and taking responsibilities
- Strong sense of customer centricity, comfortable communicating at technical level
- Analytical skills and proven ability to work with a client to understand requirements and define appropriate actions
