SUMMARY
Responsible for the operating system and associated subsystems. Provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware, network and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems. Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources. Support end-users for computer/software issue.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement and support network infrastructure.
- Researching, planning, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrading network systems/software/hardware to keep all systems working smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues with hardware, applications and network components / network conectivity (LAN/WAN).
- Support end-users issue (hardware/software).
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and peripherals (network cards, printers, modems, mouse and computer parts).
- Record and maintain hardware and software inventories.
- Manage and record site and/or server licensing, and user access and security (Domain controller / AD policy / accessing policy to network resources).
- Support and administration firewall environment in line with IT security policy.
- System/network resources backup/restore plan.
- Coordinate with teammates to quickly identify and eliminate issues affecting the network, including global, enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and Internet problems.
- Writing and updating system documentation / IT policy document.
- Document system problems and resolutions for further reference.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- English basic.
- Bachelor/College degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of technical and network operation experience in manufacturing/services companies or large enterprise environments.
- Desktop / laptop hardware / software / AD / File server / SAN / NAS / SQL Server / PBX / system services and policy knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge in network services / Firewall / Switch / Router / Wifi / Wireless controler.
- Virtualization environment knowledge (Hyper-V, VMW) is required.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills are required.
- CCNA / AZ104 / MCSA is a plus.
- Working alone / teamwork skill / comunication skill is required.
- Always honest, responsible, thoughtful, quick response and courteous. Always do the job with integrity.
- Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
